Could Flyers Make Your Business Fly?

Get 1,000 to 100,000 Visitors Per Day! http://www.Guaranteed-Hits.com

Just because you run an online business doesn’t mean you
can’t benefit from the power of the printed flyer!

Flyers — or handbills — have always been a cost-effective
advertising tool available to small business owners, and
small ONLINE business owners are no exception.
As long as you’re NOT targeting “people who are glued to
their computers all day and never leave their homes,” then
you can safely decide to use flyers to:
-promote an online event
-advertise a sale you’re having
- or let them know about a special offer exclusively on
your site.
THE BASICS

Once you decide to try a little bit of “flyer power,” just
remember to include these 5 basic ingredients when putting
together your printed pitch:
Theme
—-Theme
is the general idea, the dominant image, the symbolism
that sticks. It’s what makes your entire offer stand out
from the rest of the printed matter, because it gives your
readers something their imaginations can hold on to.

Ideally, whatever theme you use for your flyers should tie
up with the theme you’re currently using for your site.
Besides giving people visual reassurance that they’ve
reached the right website, it also helps reinforce your
entire pitch in their minds, making you (and your business,
and your services) utterly unforgettable.
Information
———–
The trick here is to make everything concise, compelling,
and complete.
(You only have a handbill to put it all into, after all!)
Grab them with a headline, interest them with benefits
(what’s in it for them), and make them salivate for those
solutions that could banish their problems forever.
The simple idea is to give them enough to be interested, but
end up wanting MORE. So they’ll have an overwhelming reason
to visit your site.
Lay Out
——-
The great temptation for first time flyer makers is to pack
EVERYTHING into that small handbill page… and this is a
big mistake.
Normally, a person who’s just been given a flyer (while
presumably rushing over to work or an appointment) will
glance at the entire thing for just 1 second, and in that
short time decide whether:
-he should throw it away,
-stuff it into his pocket,
- or give it his complete attention for the next 10
to 15 seconds.
You obviously don’t want to end up in the first category,
and should you fall into the second you certainly want it
to be just a prelude to the third.

But the secret of successfully getting a flyer read AT ALL
is to make the lay-out inviting (relaxing, inspiring,
intriguing) enough to convince your reader it’s actually an
artwork worth keeping…

….At least until he’s read it thoroughly enough to actually
know what it says.

Call To Action
————-Now,
you know that the ideal action you want them to make is
to go to the nearest Internet-connected computer and type
your URL into the browser.

But you should also make it a priority to not sound generic
(e.g., “visit our site today!”), and actually instruct them
to take certain actions they can make NOW, even as they’re
reading your flyer.

Here are some samples (although I’m sure YOU could think of
more):

-IMAGINE visiting our website today & finally finding
the home of your dreams,
-WRITE your email address on this form now & fax it to
us when you reach your office, and
-TAKE NOTE of this 20% discount code (PQRST), and make
sure to type it in when making your purchase.
Energy
—–You’ve
probably never heard this before in other make-yourown-
marketing-materials articles, but this is a tip worth
looking into:

Take a few moments to look at your finished flyer, and
direct into it all the energy & enthusiasm that you have
for your product / your business.

Because more likely than not, this will be the same
energy/enthusiasm that all your flyer readers will pick up
on, increasing your chances of getting them to actually
visit your site and act on your offer.

Why do I say this is something actually worth trying?

Two stories from two friends of mine, proving that this
really WORKS!

The first story comes from Charles Burke, who lives in
Japan. He just read an article about a Japanese researcher
who proved that thoughts can physically change the way water
freezes.

“Pure mountain spring water naturally freezes in beautiful
and complex crystalline patterns.” says Charles, in his
ezine ‘The Sizzling Edge’ (www.sizzlingedge.com).

”Polluted river water, on the other hand, forms ugly,
misshapen non-crystalline patterns.”
In the experiment Charles mentions, a researcher named Dr.
Masaru Emoto directed various thoughts such as “love,”
“gratitude,” and “you fool” toward different bottles of
water. He then quickly froze droplets of this “treated”
water, and took photomicrographs of them.

The results were dramatic!

”When Dr. Emoto or his assistants sent thoughts of love or
kindness into the polluted water, beautifully complex
crystals formed during the freezing process.” Charles
relates. “These ice crystals approached the complexity and
beauty of natural water crystals.”

On the other hand, the clean water that was subjected to
harmful or insulting words became degraded, and actually
lost its ability to form complex crystals.

Charles reports that these tests are “repeatable,” so anyone
interested in verifying the findings can try the same
experiment and get the same results.

The second story that convinces me about the effect of
“directing thoughts / energy” comes from Joe Vitale, from
his new ebook called “Spiritual Marketing” (available on
www.MrFire.com ).

Here Joe talks about his friend Sandra Zimmer, who runs the
Self-Expression Center in Houston.

”Sandra consciously infuses her ads with her energy.” says
Joe. “She actually sits and meditates over her ad, sending
her energy into the ad. As a result, her ads have a
magnetic quality to them. She once told me that people
hold on to her ads for as long as seven years.

”While her ads didn’t look different, they FELT different.
There was just something about (them) that made them more
memorable. That something was Sandra’s own energy.”

So, do you still think this “hocus-pocus thing” about
directing your enthusiasm into your flyer is a step you can
ignore?

I’ll leave that decision up to you. =)

FINALLY, AFTER PRODUCTION
….Comes “distribution.”

Hopefully by this time you have a very clear idea about what
makes a good (or even an outstanding) flyer, and soon you’ll
be ready to create one that would make your own business
fly.
But as with all forms of advertising, flyer-distribution has
to be TARGETED, so make sure you give them away to people
who:
-can really benefit from your service
-will know people who will benefit from your service
- or would at least be able to get on the Internet &
visit your site within 10 minutes of seeing your flyer.
You can even choose to distribute your flyer in less
conventional ways, like:
-through fax
-as posts on public bulletin boards
-as inserts in packages
- or even electronically as pop-under ads!
After all, there’s no limit to how high your flyers can fly,
as long as it’s propelled by a business owner’s imagination.

Harnessing the power of tidal currents has the potential to provide unheard of clean, renewable energy production. Nanotechnology, with its innovative approach and non-surpassed success rate, may be the conduit needed to perfect the viability of ocean-current power as an alternative energy source.

Ocean currents are a natural phenomena located along most coastlines. The only requirement for harnessing their power is that the currents amalgamate under the surface of the ocean at depths of between eighty to two hundred and thirty feet (25 – 70 meters) with a flow of between five to ten feet per second. Harnessing this type of natural energy production it is not only a feasible undertaking, but is also quite an efficient way of supplying a clean, alternative energy source.

Although tidal power is an amazing concept, wave power also offers a much needed link to cheaper, cleaner power and its availability and conversion is being investigated vigorously in the ongoing race to market an economical, clean, renewable source of energy. Concerting above ground wind turbine units to meet undersea performance is technologically possible and, with a few adjustments, present day wind turbines are easily adapted to harness the awesome power of the sea.

Physicists have studied the gravitational pull of the moon and its effect on ocean currents for eons. Ocean tides are predictable, constant, natural occurrences that are easily forecasted for years in advance. This awesome and essentially untapped source of alternative power is not negatively affected either by adverse weather conditions or climate changes – which makes it ideal for further investigation and implementation.
In order to harness the full power of the ocean, nanotechnology may be just the ticket needed to successfully construct man-made tidal dams designed to control the flow as the tides ebb and recede. Predetermined openings would allow ocean currents to flow up through these gaps into a bay or estuary where the water is collected in the dam-like barrage and then released via a series of sluice gates and through a turbine which in turn generates electricity.

This alternative energy source is well established in La Rance France where a 240 megawatt facility has been operating since 1966. In addition, other, smaller sites have also garnered some success in Canada and in South Korea plans are underway to construct a plant larger than the one in France. However, there is one drawback to this type of power harnessing. Naturalists and environmentalists are concerned with the effects that constant flooding of the barrages has on the delicate ecosystems within the bays and estuaries where they are located.

Nanotechnology scientists are working in close liaison with forward thinking ecologists to correct this deficiency by designing a type of tidal lagoon to house the turbines. Instead of creating dams within the estuary itself, they propose to take advantage of strides in nanotechnology in order to erect man-made lagoons just off shore which would be built up from the seabed and reach out at least one meter above the high tide level. In this type of construction, the turbines would be situated in a wall close to, but not interfering with, the seabed itself. The concept is simple and very effective: the water would flow in through the turbine during high tide filling the lagoon, at low tide the flow would be reversed and the turbines turned in the opposite direction. The result is a generation of electricity in both directions four times a day. Careful placement of the lagoon would be determined by the differential between the maximum heights achievable between high and low tides. Producing energy by this means is anticipated to cost less than any coal fired facility, while protecting and encouraging a positive ecological environment.

Plans are underway to begin construction in several locations off the coast of Wales and China. This combination of conventional technology in partnership with nanotechnology advances has put environmental and ecological issues to rest, yet there is still a viable concern that this type of energy plant may have an adverse effect on shipping lanes. However, these concerns have also been considered and development of barrage ocean turbines that operate independently with little or no interference to ship traffic is well into production stages.

Because narrow passages promote the fastest movement of currents, the feasibility of harnessing huge amounts of power via ocean turbines offers an excellent alternative to nuclear and coal fired energy generating plants. With the reduced threat of ecosystem damage, advanced technology, co-operation between industry and environmental agencies and the almost unlimited locations that can potentially provide ideal conditions for tidal/ocean power harnessing, this type of energy source is generating serious attention worldwide.

Therefore, this begs the question: Is it really necessary to expose our planet and its people to constant ecological threat by continuing to provide nuclear power and its associated danger to the environment? The answer is, unequivocally – No. For those of us who care about living in a cleaner, safer world, it is imperative that we embrace nanotechnology assisted methods of energy generation which are proven to exceed present energy output while reducing the threat of pollution and destruction of our ecosystems.

Don’t you have those days that everything is going the wrong way? That nothing, and I mean nothing, is working out as it should be? Well, I do. Happily not that often, but still. And then I just walk away from it. If the problem doesn’t go.Then go yourself. Just refuse to be feeling bad. Simple, isn’t it?

It sounds simpler than it should be, but it isn’t. You see, somewhere, somehow, there always is someone who, under whatever circumstances, always feels not as he/she is expecting.

The simple step to take is walk away from your trouble. Don’t just try to forget about it. It’s not working. Just go away and start to look and make for your self a brighter day.

Sometimes I feel like I am imprisoned, but then I realize that those who keep me imprisoned are me and my problems. Break free! You and me have the power! Call out for it! Open your arms and shout it out to the sky, to the wind, to the world if you want:

<dir>I Do Feel Great!

</dir>Isn’t that simple?

So many teachers tought me, through their wisdom, to break free. To break free from my own fear, to believe in myself, in my own intuition. To believe in it. That it will guide me through difficulties. To listen to it. To fight!

But what gave me the push to finally get it done, was an article about Ray Charles. America’s beloved King Of Soul. Only yesterday I read in the Great Life Today ezine (GreatLifeNetwork) a very inspiring story about Ray Charles, The King, called:

<dir>“Ain’t good enough” (Ray Charles) 2.064

</dir>It is a short story from his life. In essence, how he became what he is today. How he got rejected by Lucky Millinder to play within his band and how the rejection made him practice, practice, and practice until he became the King of Soul. He call’s it the best thing that happened to him in his life. These words of Ray brushed out the fog that was obscuring my sight:

<dir>“I never wanted to be famous. I only wanted to be great.”

</dir>It opened my eyes so suddenly that I became blinded by the light of the discovery! Don’t ever let something, a problem, a family member, a friend even, don’t let them stop you. Just shove whatever it is aside and go away from the influence. Let it for what it is and go find yourself a better day!

No one is going to tell you that it will be easy. No way! Most probably it will get more difficult with each and very step you’ll be taking. But when you leave it behind you, you will feel finally free! And the freedom will open your eyes and your heart.

Do not pretend that you don’t have any problems. Just push them aside for a day. Or two. Look at yourself, at the world, stay open to whatever comes into your mind and heart. Follow your deep inside voice. Intuition it is. What you love, what inspires you, what you enjoy.

It can’t be wrong. You probably found whatever was meant for you and you didn’t know. You forgot all about it. The society that we live in expects that we follow what the main stream follows. Parents, neighbors, colleagues. Forget about it. It is not you. You haven’t lived your life until now. Neither have I. My new motto will be from now on:

<dir>“I do not want to be famous, I only want to be great.”

Start every new day by saying something like it to yourself. Give your inner voice an incentive, a push.

Push toward your own self, the real you. Walk away from everything that tries to stop you.

</dir>Find Yourself a Better Day Too!

Author: Tatiana Velitchkov

All of you probably have had some episode in your life, when you felt so excited about the things you were going to hear. Exactly this kind of feeling took hold on me when Joe “MrFire” Vitale started his speech on The Super Seminar 2001 in Atlanta. For as much as I know, there is no one among the entrepreneurs on the Net that does not know who Joe “MrFire” Vitale is, author, copy-writer, speaker, and more.

Mr. “Fire” announced the release of his new book. This particular book was written for his sister and was never meant to be published. It was such a good thing for all of us that he decided otherwise, mainly because of his friend Mr. Bob Proctor. Bob Proctor is an author, lecturer, counselor, business consultant, entrepreneur, and teacher preaching the gospel of positive thinking, self-motivation and maximizing human potential.

The title of the new book is “Spiritual Marketing”. In short, not more than an hour, Mr “Fire” made it clear to all of us in the audience what the book was all about.

“First of all”, he said, “Know what you don’t want”. “Secondly”, he proceeded, “select what you want to be, do or want”. “The third most important thing”, he continued,”is to get clear’. “The fourth thing is to feel what it would be like to be, do or have what you want”. “The fifth and last thing”, he said, ” is to let go”. That’s right my friends, just let it go.

The revelations Mr “Fire” made on the Super Seminar were quite something. A big applause ended his speech, and we all wanted to have his new book at once. But the book just released only two days ago.

Joe “MrFire” Vitale did sent us, (attendees of the seminar) an email about it. This is the link which all of us received: http://www.1stbooks.com/bookview/5655.

I visited the link and downloaded the book at once. Do yourself a big favor and get this book, I did! Believe me, this was the second best thing I did after visiting the Super Seminar 2001. I am now on my way to Success, to a happier, healthier, love filled life! I wish the same to all of you!

There are many different options in web hosting that can appeal to the new website owner. Today’s internet offers quite a buyer’s market when it comes to web server hosting. Because of the heavy competition and the many different types of service available, great service is usually readily available at a really good price. Among those web hosting servers that people can choose from are virtual private servers, dedicated servers, shared servers, and even reseller web hosting service. What you choose is completely based upon the type of needs that your website has and what sort of budget you are working with.

Dedicated servers are the best option for people who are looking to have their own space. You won’t have to share your server with five other websites, as dedicated servers offer personalized web hosting. This can often be a good thing for the bottom line of a company, as it offers a great return on investment. Even though dedicated servers might cost a little bit more, the rewards come back in the form of good profits.

Virtual private servers are another option for customers who don’t like the idea of totally sharing a server with other people. These servers aren’t completely dedicated, but they take on the appearance of a dedicated server and you get many of the same services. The difference is that VPS is much cheaper than straight dedicated server service. These really attempt to bridge the gap between shared servers and dedicated servers.

Each of these services offers something a little bit different and appeals to a different kind of website owner. They both have advantages, depending upon what your needs are. A quick look at the long term prospectus of a website and your bottom line will tell you which type of server is best for you.

For those folks that need some form of web hosting, but they aren’t looking to break the bank in order to get everything, there are some options. You don’t have to be a millionaire to start a website and web hosting doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. If you do some research and look over the various options, chances are that you will find a service that suits you. Two of the best low cost options in web hosting are reseller web hosting service and shared servers. Though these two won’t give you the exclusiveness of dedicated servers, they will provide users with an opportunity to get a site up and running.

Shared web hosting servers, as their name would indicate, offer web hosting service for a number of different websites all help on the same server. In some cases, this causes slowdowns because of issues with bandwith, but for the most part, it is a pretty reliable option in web hosting. People choose this option because they don’t need the high power of a dedicated server or because they don’t have the budget to support high priced web hosting service. Whatever the case, shared servers are a good option for people who have small websites that don’t require a whole lot of serving power.

Reseller hosting service is similar to shared hosting service in that it provides a more cost effective alternative to other servers out there. The difference is that this type of disk space is rented from a third party that is looking to sell their space like a lease on property. They will allow you to customize the service that you need, but they don’t provide much more on top of that. This is a good option for someone that needs flexibility in their service plan or a website with special needs that other servers won’t accommodate.

Free web hosting is something that appeals to many people. Though it is obviously not right for everyone, free web hosting is suitable for a lot of up and coming web entrepreneurs. Because it is free, there is very little risk when going in with a free web hosting company. The only thing you risk losing is your time. Though free web hosting services are limited when compared to their paid counterparts, they are extremely economical and can help improve your bottom line.

Usually, free web hosting companies are supported by different ad campaigns that put money in their pocket and leave money in yours. You won’t be able to secure your own domain name through these companies, though. Generally, your location will be as a part of another website or in a directory type of setting. Because it is free, this just about all you can ask for out of your hosting company.

When you consider whether or not free web hosting service is for you, it’s important to consider your website’s needs. Often times, free web hosting can provide everything you need. Some people need a little bit more power, though. Though free web hosting is certainly a value, it does not provide too many features to those who use it. You will lack a great deal of bandwith, so be prepared to survive using a limited supply.

You will also have to put up with any rules that your free web hosting company imposes. For example, you will have to have different banner ads all over your website because the free web hosting service uses those ads to make their revenue. After all, they have to pay for the hosting somehow. If their web server goes down, there is no guarantee that it will recover quickly. Be prepared for this if you aren’t paying for web hosting.

Dedicated servers are the most efficient way to host a website on the internet. With dedicated server hosting, webmasters do not have to share their server space with anyone else. The best thing about using a dedicated server is that you have total control and freedom over the things that you do with your website. It offers a much more flexible option than shared hosting, in which you have to conform to another company’s wants.

If you looking to create a website for the purpose of making a little bit of money, then dedicated servers are really the only way to go. They provide a much cheaper alternative to some of the other web hosting options. That low operating cost will help you make a greater return on your investment.

Dedicated servers are usually contained by data centers, places in which the operating hardware is owner by the person providing your web hosting. These people have the capability of not only hosting your website, but also providing certain forms of support if it should come to that.

Dedicated server management is something that will differ depending on which hosting service you use. Since there are no clearly defined industry standards for the management of dedicated servers, each company will do things a little bit differently. This is alright, though, as it allows website owners to look for web hosting companies that fit their needs. Conversely, it does mean that webmasters will need to do more homework on given hosting companies, as it would be foolish to get engaged with one without knowing exactly what services they provide.

Dedicated servers are a great option for website owners that like to have full control over every operation of their site. If you are not one for sharing server space with other companies, then there are plenty of dedicated server hosting companies who are willing to take you on.

Reseller hosting is an interesting type of web hosting that allows people the ability to use his or her own hard drive space to host websites for other people. Reseller hosting services rarely stand on their own. Usually, they are simply added features from companies that offer other web based services. Typical companies that would offer reseller hosting service would be a company with a web design portion. Reseller hosting is a much easier business to start out in than any other form of hosting. Because of that, it is often the option chosen by folks who are looking to make their start in web hosting.

Reseller hosting firms offer a much more competitive model for folks who want to get web hosting. Instead of having to simply settle for what the big web hosting companies offer, webmasters can get good deals and a lot of flexibility from reseller hosting firms. These companies will often times let website owners customize their own web hosting plan in order to accommodate price concerns and special needs.

Reseller hosting is something that is very easy to get into because it requires a relatively small amount of experience in order to get started. The data center will be the place that is taking care of most of the upkeep for the servers, so basically resellers are just going to be selling their space like a vacant office building for someone to use. Being the landlord of web space has its advantages, as it is a good way to make residual income without having to do a whole bunch of work.

Reseller hosting is something that generally benefits all parties involved. Website owners can have the freedom to choose and customize their design, while the hosting companies themselves can make a cheap buck. It’s a win-win situation that lots of people are choosing today.

© 2007Advances in nanotechnology have proven that incredible progress is not only possible today and in the future, it is pretty well inevitable. Fantastic advances in nanotechnologic medical research have resulted in life saving techniques that were unheard of even a decade ago.

Genetic engineering research and development provides a means of revolutionizing agricultural output by enhancing crop yields while encouraging a decrease in the necessity for pesticides. It also holds out a promise of attaining newer, improved species of plants and animals, the ability to someday replace or supplement reproduction with cloning and the hope that cures will be developed for many fatal and debilitating diseases, which can only result in increased life spans and improved quality of life.

Robotic engineers firmly believe that development of a truly intelligent machine that is capable of performing most tasks better than humans will be perfected within our lifetime. They envision a time when a highly organized system of machines will perform all tasks with little or no human input.

It is not hard to imagine the revolutionary advancements that are possible if nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics combine their expertise in future technological advancements. Either the result will be a utopian world free of disease or pestilence or a jumbled chaos of grey goo and confusion.

Regardless of the outcome, it is inevitable that the future holds profound changes because of nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics, whether the accomplishments are made on their own or as a result of a coordinated effort. Along with the imminent progression, however, we must also be aware of the philosophical, moral and ethical issues that will come about as a result of biological change.

In addition to the potential threat from the unleashed power of nanotechnology based scientific advancements, there is also the promise of an improved future for mankind and the world in which he dwells. The line of demarcation is thin and easily crossed and therefore great care and planning must go hand in hand with technological advances.

Naysayers are quick to point out the many pitfalls of unbridled nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics research and implementation; however, to the chagrin of futurists, these non-progressive individuals fail to fully conceive of the many benefits these scientific advancements can and will provide. Progressive thinkers are quick to embrace the very real possibility of incredibly low-cost solar power, cures for debilitating disease via intensification of the human immune system, the ability to clean up our environment and the overall improvement of human existence that is not only possible but entirely plausible in the very near future because of nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics.

So, are nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics to be feared as an impending doomsday event or should they be embraced as miracles of the future? Only by carefully reviewing the past while embracing the future will we be able to tell. After all, if we are willing to build an artificial brain, we must be willing to construct one that is able to see what we cannot.
